Abstract
This paper discusses a number of important issues that management should address during the implementation of a CADD system. The need to consider carefully and where possible quantify the expected benefits and associated costs is emphasised. The paper also highlights some of the pitfalls associated with developing CADD systems and based on our experience suggests ways in which they may be avoided.
