Summary
This paper proposes the design of a cloud computer aided engineering (CAE) platform in order to facilitate the development of an all-in-one system with a GUI on the platform.
As the platform is independent of particular CAE applications, it is possible to apply various CSM/CFD solvers.
Since the platform is a web-based system, a CAE user can use it anytime or anywhere through any device where a web browser is installed.
Moreover, the platform's components take account of applications to large-scale structural analyses.
As numerical examples, large-scale finite element analyses are run through the cloud CAE platform
These examples confirm that this system has the ability for processing CAE problems which have a hundred million degrees of freedom.
