Abstract
In this study, paying attention to the steps of making master plan and evaluating dam configuration and view for the aesthetic design of dam structures, an attempt is made to develop a decision-making supporting syst.ein aided by neural network system and computer graphics. The present system was built on a 32-bit microcomputer whose main memory is 640KB and extended to 2MB RAM and Math coprocessor; therefore, anyone can use this system without difficulty. Using the neural network computation, it is possible to choose an adequate configuration from several alternatives without difficulty.
