Summary
A boundary element library for parallel solution of engineering problems is presented
in this paper. The boundary element method is especially suitable for solving problems
stated in unbounded domains, since the problem is reduced to the boundary of
the domain. The structure of the library is described with focus on the module for
parallel solution of wave scattering problems. The parallelization in shared memory
using OpenMP is described and the possible parallelization in distributed memory using
MPI is discussed. The results for numerical experiments are presented in the last
part of the paper.
