Summary
For the rig test of a pantograph-catenary system, the hybrid simulation test rig, the
electrical contact test rig and the friction and wear test rig were established. Then,
the mechanical parameters, the electrical parameters and the material parameters of
the pantograph-catenary system were tested. Furthermore, for the pantograph-catenary system the rig test methods of the static and dynamic mechanical
performance, the electrical contact performance and the friction and wear
performance are obtained. For the field test of the pantograph-catenary system,
many field tests in the high speed railways were carried out and the corresponding
test data including the dynamic performance, the current-collection performance and
the aerodynamic performance of the pantograph and the catenary system were
obtained. On the basis of the comparative analysis of the test data, the corresponding
field test methods of the pantograph-catenary system were established.
