Abstract
Management of construction productivity is an extremely important function. The application of micro-computers in the management of productivity can produce significant benefits to construction Project Managers and Estimators. This paper discusses the development and operation of an application of microcomputers in the prediction, management and monitoring of productivity on job sites using the expert opinions of construction personnel. An innovative method of calculating a global Productivity Index for construction job sites and determining critical areas is discussed.
