Abstract
If an expert system is to make any significant impact in practice, its knowledge base should be a generalized one, in which not only logic reasoning knowledge, but several kinds of knowledge, (such as procedure control knowledge, reasoning methodology knowledge, numerical calculation knowledge and so on) can also be involved. In this paper, a generalized knowledge base structure will be presented.
