Abstract

A program has been created to assist estimators to carry out masonry cost analysis, quantity take-offs, and pricing on MS-DOS based microcomputers. This program is a collaboration between the industry and academic institute. The goal is to produce a software package requiring minimum training on the part of the users. This paper introduces features of the program and promotes the use of microcomputers in the construction industry.
