Abstract

The initial development of a suite of programs for use within the field of geotechnical engineering is discussed. Use of the system is described with reference to an applications program - called FREEWALL for the design of earth retaining structures. Numerical results generated for a partially submerged, single-tied sheetpile wall are presented.
