Abstract

There are many uncertainties associated with every aspect of off shore engineering. A total reliability analysis of a structural system includes all types of failure levels and their associated probabilities of occurrence. This paper reports the development of a Computer program for assessment of reliability from a fault tree of the offshore platform. The program is quite simple and is expected to be a good tool for taking decisions at planning/design stage.
