Abstract
The use of computers in civil and structural engineering practices has given rise to a number of important ethical problems for the profession. In addition, the rapid development of computer usage throughout the whole breadth of the profession has left many engineers unaware of the legal implications of employing these machines. This paper will therefore address some of the legal, ethical and moral issues relating to the use of computers in the engineering and other similar professions.
