Abstract

This paper describes some results of research projects currently in progress at University of San Juan (Argentina), about seismic behavior and security of different kinds of structures. Seismic security assesment of earthdams, shaking table tests on structures such as soil retaining walls and concrete coupled shear walls are some of the topics that are briefly described here.
