Abstract
Structural analysis of offshore platforms is necessarily a complex and detailed procedure. Many different loading conditions are incident on platforms during their life span inducing dynamic and random structural responses which must be considered during the design of the platform. This paper presents details of the development and application of a computer programme for performing frequency domain of offshore lattice structures. Using linear spectral theory, output spectra of structural displacements are presented for a given input spectrum of sea state; from these output spectra standard deviations of displacements are calculated.
