Abstract
The use of a project management software package in the control of three house building projects is described. These projects were featured in a television program and so had unusual constraints imposed on them by the need to film selected items on specific days on site. The use of the package to produce the original and updated plans for the construction and the optimisation of the filming activity was undertaken by the Project Manager and agreed with the relevant builder. In this way, the filming days were reduced by approximately 30 percent, with very few unproductive days filming on site and with minor disruption to the normal building process.
