Abstract
Bridges use to be important structures. Every bridge must be studied carefully and treated individually and, for this reason, it is advisable that specific CAD programs are available for their design using an adequate calculation model.

A set of programs for the analysis and automatic design of bridges, including deck, piers, abutments and foundation, developed by the authors, is presented here. They cover different kinds of decks (multispan slab decks, single span I or U-shaped beam-and-slab decks and pseudo-slab decks), different kinds of piers (single or framed, with solid or hollow column), different kinds of abutments (cantilever wall or floating), and different kinds of foundations (rectangular bases, piles).
