Abstract
In this paper, an original authors' approach to classification and simulation of discretized, nonhomogeneous, spatial random fields is presented. The classification of the fields is performed according to the groups of symmetry of the correlation functions. To solve the simulation problem an effective version is of the rejection method and conditional probability distributions are implemented. A superior role in the method plays a local propagation scheme consisted of growing number of points covering sequentially the nodes of a regular or irregular mesh. The results of the simulation of the white noise and Wiener fields are presented. Estimators of local and global characteristics of these fields show agreement with theoretical Wishart (gamma) distributions.
