Abstract
The boundary element row-solver is a procedure to formulate and to compute the system matrix in the boundary element analysis. By such solver the classical fully-populated matrix is no-longer required and computer run time is also reduced.
Several examples are first introduced in order to show that reanalysis is necessary when the condition over a portion of the boundary is uncertain. An extended version of the row-solver procedure is then described so that reanalysis of a problem can be considered. A flow diagram is also given to explain the reanalysis procedure. Finally, two examples are given to show the applicability of the concept.
