Abstract
A novel fault diagnosis strategy for rail fastening systems is proposed. Its key feature
is the compensation of environmental and operating point dependent distortion effects
on the fault residuum. This results in a robust and effective basis for a fault diagnosis
strategy which requires little data for calibration.
