Abstract
LUSAS is a second generation finite element system capable of analysing linear, nonlinear, dynamic and heat transfer problems. The system incorporates powerful free-format data generation procedures, a state-of-the-art library of finite element types, a wide range of linear and nonlinear material types, powerful solution procedures, and clear self-explanatory output with graphics options. LUSAS includes facilities developed specifically for the construction industry.
