Summary
This paper presents simulation of large experimental series on bended concrete beams performed at the Northwesten University by the team of Professor Bazant. The beams have different size and notch depth. The simulations were performed using the continuous nonlocal isotropic damage model.

The focus of the paper is identification of model parameters according to the experimental data. Besides the load-crack opening curves taken from experiments, the identification also relies on information about the fracture process zone size provided by discrete modeling of the same experimental series.
