Summary
This paper shows an approach to deploy computer aided engineering functionality in a cloud using fully automated resource estimation and allocation. The considered approach provides the end-user with both an API to be used in user's own application and a fully functional graphical web interface. No particular requirements are provided to the client system except for presence of a web browser. This makes the application cross-platform and available anywhere in the world. The application back-end architecture is described, its web API and end-user experience. Benchmarking results for geometry processing, meshing and analysis are provided for the case of second-order tetrahedron meshes and linear static analysis.
