Summary
In this paper, we study the behavior of some known iterative methods for solving nonlinear equations when they are applied to different nonlinear matrix equations. The convergence analysis, for some conditions on the matrices that appear in the equations, is shown in each case. Some numerical examples confirm the theoretical results and allow us to compare the proposed iterative methods with other known ones.
