Summary
This paper shows the study, project and realization of a wireless real time security mechanism which is able to detect the train integrity. The definition of a logic board is to represent the train integrity. This is an innovation with respect to the state of the art technology. The reference scenario is that of the ERTMS / ETCS (European Rail Traffic Management System / European Train Control System), which defines the modalities for the exchange of signalling information between the trackside and onboard rail vehicle sensor. In particular, reference is made to a ground subsystem (SST) that implements only the ETCS Level 3.
