Summary
Mathematical models are proposed to describe the load-slip behavior of connections, for material non-linear analysis and reliability analysis of timber-concrete composite structures. The models were fitted to the load-slip curves available. The obtained parameters were treated to evaluate the most adequate statistical distributions in each case. The results obtained clearly show that is possible to obtain good descriptions, with most of the proposed models. Furthermore, adequate solutions are available with an exponential three parameter model for four of the five connection types studied. The statistical analysis showed that the most of the parameter distributions are either normal or log-normal.
