Abstract
Parameters reflecting reliability and sensitivity are of valuable help for an evaluation of networks. They are derived here for general network calculation problems and they are the basis of a strategy for the improvement of the network design - for an optimisation strategy. The strategy of optimisation presented here is based on a sequential reduction of a network taking into account restrictions of the network and reliability aspects.
