Abstract
This paper describes the FELASH suite of finite element programs. The FELASH suite (Finite ELement analysis of Axisymmetric shells) is a user-friendly group of programs which can perform a variety of different kinds of static analysis on shells of revolution. The suite was developed for specialist application to silo and tank structures, which are subject to many different complex loading conditions and generally fail by buckling or plastic collapse.

Complex branched orthotropic doubly curved axisymmetric shells may be analysed under non-symmetric loading, and linear or nonlinear buckling analyses leading to plastic collapse or non-symmetric bifurcation buckling are available.
