Abstract
In this paper analysis and design of barrel vaults are studied. Effective parameters for optimal design are specified and a number of structures with different parameters are analyzed and designed. Design charts are provided for efficient design of barrel vaults. A number of examples are included to illustrate the efficiency of the graphs and the charts prepared in this study.
