Abstract
In the present paper, a series of software applications is presented for the dimensioning and detailing of steel structures under the rules of Eurocode 3. The objective of the project has been the development of an application package that will combine a reliable implementation of EC3, the control of every parameter of the problem with a user-friendly interface and the ability to extract further conclusions about the cost efficiency and the accurate design of steel structures.
