Abstract
This work is about a direct method for the static reanalysis of structures. We use the concept of the reflexive inverse to express a general solution of discrete structure regardless of boundary conditions. We present a decomposition method for the stiffness matrix in order to avoid its inversion. We provide a comparison between the calculation time of this method and the one taken by a traditional approach. We also demonstrate the capability of this method to solve reanalysis problems involving stiffness modifications.
