Abstract
The numerical performance of (physically) partitioned solution procedures are investigated for strongly coupled hydro-mechanical problems. Parallel and sequential implementation of these procedures are discussed and global convergence conditions are addressed. Conclusions are drawn also in light of experience with other solutions procedures (global and domain decomposition).
