Abstract
Procedure for classification of individual unreinforced masonry buildings considering their seismic vulnerability, in a way appropriate to fit the available macro scale methods for damage evaluation, is proposed in this paper. Available recommendations were considered as base for this procedure. Earthquake capacity ratio was chosen to be the key parameter in determining the criteria for classification of individual unreinforced masonry buildings. Such classification enable considering some of the building characteristics applying in the same time statistical or empirical date.
