Abstract
An open system for the determination of settlements is described. The system has a modular structure. So the single modules can be inserted according to the concrete problem. Thus results in a minimisation of problem related calculations. The modules cover most used forms of loaded areas and are all extended to consider a calculation at any location in the ground plan. The open programming allows an individual intervention. Both, input- and result data as well as calculation algorithms are accessible encoded, so that desired changes or extensions can be input without any problems.
