Abstract
Object of this paper is the research of evaluation and analysis of structural elements that compose the construction of a damaged stone - masonry building with the use of CAD systems in considering all prerequisites for a restoration project. Furthermore the results of this analysis are exposed, as well as appropriate methods and algorithms used. The application of these methods has been developed during two research programs for the restoration study of two monuments totally different in characteristics. The results obtained are the geometric rendering and the formation of three-dimensional models.
